Tracey was running late to work and she knew her father was going to have a lot to say about it, especially since she hadn't got around to finishing the assignment he had given her. Tracey had been so busy with trying to catch Cameron, she had forgot all about it.

As soon as Tracey got into the building, Mr. Diggs was waiting on her at the front desk. He had a look of disappointment on her face that nearly broke Tracey's heart.

"Sorry I'm late. I had a long night," she told her father, walking up and kissing him on the forehead.

"I need to talk to you about what's been going on as of late. You’re coming to work late, leaving early, and you still haven't gotten back to me with the financial statements I asked you to go over," Mr. Diggs said.

"You don't even stop by the house and check up on me anymore."

"I know daddy. I just been busy lately. I do have a life outside of this job. I promise ..."

"Baby, if you need time off, all you gotta do is say something. When I die ..."

"Daddy you’re not gonna die."

"When I die, this company will be all yours to do whatever you want to do with. If you decide to let what I worked so hard to build, go down the drain, then that's on you. But until that day comes that you bury me and take over, get to work on time. And do your job." Mr. Diggs said in an angry voice then dismissed her with a flick of the hand.

Tracey felt kind of bad, never seeing her father being this upset with her. She loved him and wanted to make him proud but at the same time she had her own life too. She wanted to tell him about the P.I. business she had but Tracey knew that he wouldn't understand being as though she was the heir to a multi-million dollar company.

When Tracey got to her office she put her bag down and jumped right on the phone to call her friend Sallie down at the police station. She wanted him to run the license plate number she got off the truck Cameron's female friend got out of. Today, Tracey was about to present all of the evidence she got on Cameron to Constance.

"Sallie I need you to run a plate for me," Tracey said, digging into her bag and grabbing her notepad.
